Update: Spring 2008
Winter in Minneapolis wasn't so terrible. I am really really looking forward to spring. I'll be actively posting information about owl and frog monitoring later this summer. I'm enrolled in a botanical illustration program, the Minnesota School of Botanical Art. Here's the flickr page with occasional postings of new paintings and drawings. The teachers are really amazing, and I learn SO much in every class.
Geek news
I currently work at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Right now, I'm doing Drupal work (mostly version 5, but as you can see...I'm testing out version 6 with my own website.) I attended DrupalCon Boston in March, which was like computer summer camp. The drupal community rocks! (They just need to figure out how to get word out to folks who need a little more than WordPress!) In January SMM launched www.diseasedetectives.org. Currently, I am working on a nano-science community website. This has me making loads of content types and royally rearranging fields. I'm really glad fields are the future of drupal. By the fall, I expect to be really excited about microformats of data. I've gone to some conferences this spring: DrupalCon Boston 2008, Museums and the Web, MN.swf (flash/flex camp!)
