Farm of Art & Community Technology

A new venture: Farm of Art & Community Technology

With all of the goings-on of the Drupal Open Garden Project it is becoming clear that there is a movement of garden & food geeks. We care a lot about combining our technology passions with those of our interest in interacting with the real physical world, our cities, and neighbors.

Learning about the Hayes Valley Farm has shown to me that these kinds of urban agricultural spaces are possible, and it's the learning and interacting that are so amazing.

Using Neocolor II (with a waterbrush + sketchbook): A Review

I recently started using Neocolor II water-soluable wax crayons. This is a discussion of issues I have had with using the Neocolor with a waterbrush + a normal sketchbook.

My Flickr Neocolor Photoset

Last month, I went to Wet Paint and got some Neocolor II crayons. A man at the store told me that I would definitely also want a water brush. He was so right. I immediately fell in love with the crayons + waterbrush.
